Education, Leadership, and Service

December 2009I have always been a leader.  Even from a small age I was able to contribute and help my team accomplish great things.  In high school I was the Merci Award winner from the National Charity League for donating my time to the community.  Working with children’s programs through the Girl Scouts taught me so much about the kind of leader I wanted to be.  At the University of Arizona, I continued to lead as the Vice President of Membership for Alpha Omicron Pi while earning my bachelor of arts degree in Creative Writing.  During that time I was responsible for creating development programs that fostered the growth of young women leaders.  I am a believer in the personal growth of people through a  lifetime of learning.  I achieved my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Regis University in March 2010.  Today, I serve as a member of the board of the Regis University Networking Group.  In addition I am on the board of the Denver Alumnae Group for Alpha Omicron Pi, and I am involved as an alumnae delegate for the Denver Alumnae Panhellenic Group.

Growing up in San Diego led to my love of the outdoors.  I began rowing in high school for the ZLAC Rowing Club, which is the oldest women’s rowing club in the United States.  Today, I continue to row with the Rocky Mountain Rowing Club, located in Denver, Colorado.
